Campsite Rules
Please remember that your campsite is a recreational site and not a residence.
We all need to be good neighbors to our fellow campers! No one likes to camp next to a messy site, and a messy campsite can also be an open invitation to unwanted wildlife.
The following are some guidelines to help everyone be a good neighbor during your stay at Upper Cumberland RV Park and Campground.
Trash & Garbage Disposal Rules
Leaving trash outside your campsite overnight will attract unwanted wildlife visitors. Please dispose of your trash using the appropriate trash cans located next to the office or take inside your camper. Household trash only and in trash bags.
Upper Cumberland RV Park and Campground is not responsible for disposing of: grills, mattresses, refrigerators, bicycles, tables, chairs, empty paint cans, vacuums, awnings, etc.
If your site does not meet cleanliness standards below, you will be asked to find another campground.

However, to ensure all of our guests have a safe and enjoyable time, it is important that you read and abide by the following pet policy. Pets are welcome, but their owners must be well behaved!

Remember…people are walking pets and children are playing!
Quiet Time
Be considerate of your neighbors. Keep noise levels down to a minimum (between 9:00PM to 9:00AM.) No loud trucks, cars, or generators.
Drug use and Alcohol
Drug-related criminal activity engaged in, on or near the premises by Guest or visitor of Guest, or such activity engaged in on the premises is grounds for immediate eviction. The use and sale of marijuana is still illegal in TN, medicinal and recreational.
No public intoxication. No open containers in public areas. Consumption limited to campsites.
Fireworks and Firearms
Prohibited on park property including BB, Airsoft, and pellet guns.
Campfires
Because you can endanger those around you, this is one of the most important camping rules.
Campfires in designated fire-pits only. Be sure to put out your campfire before bed, before heading out for the day, or when you leave. Fire pits on sites must use ash screens. No firepits or grills on picnic tables.
Do not move the fire ring.
Septic Waste Policy
Only use RV toilet tissue.
Do not flush feminine products of any kind.
Do not flush “flushable” wipes because they are NOT biodegradable, even if they say they are!
Do not use garbage disposals.
Do not pour grease down sinks.
These items can cause damage to your holding tanks as well as cause sewer blockages in the park. If it is found that a blockage is due to a camper’s negligence, the guest will be assessed charges for labor and supplies to make repairs at a minimum of $50.
These rules apply to both your RV and our bathhouses.
We greatly appreciate your help in keeping our septic system running smoothly!
Freeze Warning Policy
If the temperature dips below freezing, you must turn off water at the campground spigot and disconnect your water hose from the spigot. Failure to do so may cause damage to the campground spigot, resulting in a minimum $100 repair charge billed to guest. If you would prefer to keep your water on and use a heated water hose and heat tape to prevent freezing, please reach out to RV Park management for approval. Set up must be approved by RV Park management before water is kept on in freezing temperatures.
Management reserves the right to add or change any rule(s) at any given time, without notice. Some of these rules were made by our insurance carrier, and some by the owners. They were made for your safety, and to ensure the enjoyment of your camping experience. They will be enforced.
Please be aware that our bathhouse and laundry facilities are closed for the winter. However, we have a portable toilet available for your convience until warmer weather returns.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to making your stay as comfortable as possible!
